Affiliate Terms and Conditions
Last update: April 22, 2024
By signing up for the Droip Affiliate Program (the “Program”), you accept electronically (for instance, by clicking “I agree”) the following terms and conditions (the “Terms”). Please make sure to review the entire document carefully before signing up. This is a legally binding Agreement between Droip (“Droip”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) and you (the “Affiliate”, “you”, or “your”).
Violation of these Terms may result in, among other things, suspension or termination of your rights as an Affiliate.
1. Registration
You must provide your legal full name, a working email address, and any other requested information while signing up for the Program. You must be 18 years of age or older to join this Program.
2. Approval or Rejection of Applications
We reserve the right to approve or reject ANY Affiliate Program Application within our sole discretion. You will not have any legal recourse against us for the rejection of your Affiliate Program Application.
3. Terms of the Agreement
The Terms of this Agreement will be applied upon your acceptance into the Program and will end when your Affiliate account is terminated.
We reserve the right to update and change the Terms at any time. Any future amendments made to the Program will be subject to these Terms. Your continued participation in the Program shall count as your consent to these changes.
4. Sales Commissions
Customers must click your unique referral link to sign up and make a purchase within our cookie window (currently 37 days) to qualify you for a commission.
You’ll receive a 25% commission on the revenue from referred customers’ first purchase and commissions will be paid once a month.
Important Notes:
- You cannot refer yourself or earn commissions on your own accounts.
- Commissions are limited to one per referred customer (even for multiple purchases).
- Payments are for completed transactions with the full amount. Refunds or chargebacks will not be paid out.
5. Affiliate Links
Once you become an Affiliate you will be provided with a referral link that you may embed in graphic or text links on your website or emails.
You may use graphics and text provided by us or create your own as long as they are within the Terms and do not violate any of the conditions in section 7.
6. Coupons and Deals
Droip may occasionally offer coupons or deals to selective Affiliates and newsletter subscribers. You are not allowed to promote a branded coupon or discount if you’re not pre-approved/assigned.
Below are the terms that apply to Affiliates who promote the brand in connection with any coupons or deals.
- Accurate Representation: Affiliate links, buttons, or images must clearly represent the authorized deals you’re promoting.
- No Sneaky Tactics: Don’t use pop-ups, pop-unders, iframes, or hidden actions to set affiliate cookies unless users click a clear link or button related to the deal.
- Transparency: Users should see all coupon or discount details before the affiliate cookie is set.
- No Empty Promises: Avoid misleading text like “Click for Available Coupons” that opens the Droip site with no actual deals. Affiliates using such tactics will be removed.
- No Keyword Bidding: Don’t bid on keywords like “Droip Coupons” or “Droip Discounts” without prior written permission.
7. Termination
Droip, in its sole discretion, has the right to terminate your status as an Affiliate at any time for any reason including but not limited to the following:
- Improper advertising
- Advertising on sites with illegal activities
- Spamming
- Failing to disclose your affiliate status for promotions
- Violating intellectual property rights
- Promising cash-back deals from your Affiliate commission as an incentive.
- Engaging in fraudulent transactions, self-referrals, or suspected affiliate fraud
8. Intellectual Property Rights
Droip reserves all rights to our website, the Program, and our Intellectual Property.
9. Pay Per Click (PPC) Policy
PPC bidding is NOT allowed without prior written permission.
10. Liability
Droip is not liable for indirect or accidental damages (e.g., lost revenue, commissions) due to tracking failures, data loss, or website issues. We don’t guarantee error-free operation and cannot be held accountable for such issues.
11. Indemnification
The Affiliate shall indemnify and hold harmless Droip and its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, licensees, successors, and assigns from all liabilities, damages, fines, judgments, claims, costs, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees and costs) incurred by Droip due to claims sustained in connection with this Agreement because of any negligence, misrepresentation, failure to disclose, or intentional misconduct on the Affiliate’s part.
12. Electronic Signatures Effective
The Agreement is an electronic contract that defines the legally binding terms of your participation in the Droip Affiliate Program and by completing the application process you indicate your acceptance of this Agreement and all of its Terms. Do note that this action creates an electronic signature that has the same legal force as a handwritten signature.
